Micros Menu Groups Module

Module located: Business => Menu => Micros Menu Groups

This module is used only for Oracle/Micros clients. This will change which items AppSuite will earn points on when they receive the guest check from the POS.

Sales Itemizers - Oracle only supports 8 sales itemizers in their database, this is the easiest way to segment which items you want to earn points on.

Family Groups - Oracle supports as many family groups as you want to configure

Major Groups - Oracle supports as many family groups as you want to configure

To use this feature you must:

Step 1: Enable the setting called "Menu Groups Enabled"

Step 2: Decide which groups of items you will use (major groups, family groups, or sales itemizers)

Step 3: Click edit next to the group you will configure

Step 4: Add all the groups using the POS ID of that group and the name

Step 5: Go back to the main screen and select all the groups that want AppSuite to total together to earn points on

NOTE: Separate from these settings there is a setting called "Deduct Gift Card Redemption"

If this setting is enabled the customer will earn points on purchasing the gift card and will NOT earn points when redeeming the gift card.<br /><br /> If this setting is disabled the customer will NOT earn points on purchasing the gift card but will earn points when redeeming the gift card.
