Recipients List Module

Module located: Business => Marketing => Recipient Lists

Recipient lists are broken down into 3 main categories: Event based actions, Demographic information, and custom recipient lists. Below explains how each category works and what they are used for.

It is important to know that any item within a recipient list can be combined with multiple other items creating very advanced and precise targeting of your member base. These items can be combined with "AND", "OR" logic changing how your member list is queried.

Event Based Actions: An example of some event based actions are a member signing up, spending money, completing a survey, completing their profile, etc.

Within the event based actions you have the option to choose when the member has performed these actions based on two elements, window or range based.

-Window based events allow you to target how many days after an action was performed that the member will qualify for the campaign. Example, 7 days after member's joins the program.

-Range based events allow you to choose two dates that a member should perform the intended action within. Example, member's joining between December 1st, 2015 and December 31st, 2015.

NOTE: Recipient List are the heart of campaigns and decide who and when member's should qualify for the campaign while the campaign start/end dates are the periods in which the campaign will be active.

Demographic Information: Demographic Recipient lists allow you to see any field active on member's profile and segment your list by those fields. Example All members who live in Washington, or member's who were born before 1960.

You also have custom fields that you can create and run campaigns on based on any field type.

Custom Recipient Lists: These Recipient list are more complicated in nature and were created by us to make it simple to enable a very complex logic such as: Targeting member's on the day of their birthday (or x days before), the month of their birthday, when a member is approaching a status level, etc.
