This article will explain all of the settings in the general settings module and what they are used for:

At the top you will find 2 buttons "Survey Settings" and "Terms and Conditions URL". For more information on these sections below.

Keywords - This is a sunset setting and is not used anymore.
Opentable url - This is a sunset setting and is not used anymore.
Appstore url - The URL for your iTunes Application. It is only needed to be configured on the main business, and any business you will be sending notifications from and linking this variable.
Google play link - The URL for your Google Play Application. It is only needed to be configured on the main business, and any business you will be sending notifications from and linking this variable.
Reward status url - This is a sunset setting and is not used anymore.
Facebook url - This is a sunset setting and is not used anymore.
Twitter url - This is a sunset setting and is not used anymore.

Photo Small - This is a sunset setting and is not used anymore.
Photo Large - This is a sunset setting and is not used anymore.
Photo Landing - This is a sunset setting and is not used anymore.
Photo Icon - This is a sunset setting and is not used anymore.

Title and Link Section:  - This is a sunset setting and is not used anymore.

Feature (URL's showing)  - This is a sunset setting and is not used anymore.
Bluepay merchant - This is a sunset setting and is not used anymore.
Default Gift Card type - The gift card type that card will be applied to when selling new cards from any connected application (POS, Loyalty Manager, Gift Card plugins, etc.)
Enabled Default Tips - This will enable tips on the ordering checkout screen.
Log a Purchase code - This is a sunset setting and is not used anymore.
Tax calculation by POS  - This will get the tax value from the POS when the user is on the checkout screen.
Apply Tax & Tips to Rewards Calculation - This will include the tax and tip when giving points to the customer when purchase was initiated from the POS. 
Hide redeemed offers after - This is a sunset setting and is not used anymore.
Max discount using gift card - This is a sunset setting and is not used anymore.
Attached offers quantity - How many offers can be applied to the cart (either single or multiple)
Application Timezone - Timezone for this location, used for displaying timestamps in the system.
Auth token expiration days - This is a sunset setting and is not used anymore.
Currency - The currency for this location.
Settlement time - This is a sunset setting and is not used anymore.
Order ability - When disabled, no user will be able to place an order.
